On the 11th of October 2025, We celebrated our 50th year as a football club, the day started with one of our classic matches of Youngies vs Oldies in Green Lane which provided great entertainment, followed by everyone making there way over to the Emigrants Rest to catch up with one another and also tell great stories of the past. Here is a slideshow provided on the night which shows how far we've come throughout the years.
Old Bridge Munster Youth Cup Winners 92/93
Old Bridge’s journey to Munster Youth Cup glory in 1992/93 was anything but straightforward run defined by resilience, big scorelines, and a statement performance in the final
They started with a wild 4–3 away win over St. Michaels, showing early on that they had goals in them but also the nerve to survive a shootout. Back at home they steadied things with a solid 2–0 win against Cahir Park, and from there the confidence really kicked in a huge 9–0 demolition of Peake Villa that announced them as serious contenders. A tough game away to Dungarvan, winning 2–1, which sealed them into the semi final where they handled Ballynanty Rovers with a 2–0 win to book their place in the final. When it mattered most, they produced their most dominant performance of all, sweeping aside Turnpike Rovers 5–0 to lift the cup in style. A campaign defined by resilience, firepower, and a finish worthy of champions.
